What are crypto keys?

Cryptocurrency keys refer to pairs of cryptographic keys—public and private—that enable secure transactions on a blockchain.

The public key serves as an address for receiving funds. This key is visible to and shared openly with others. The private key, on the other hand, is kept confidential. It’s only known to the owner, who can authorize the access and management of those funds.

Crypto keys utilize complex mathematical algorithms to ensure the security and integrity of transactions on the blockchain. The combination of these two types of keys facilitates peer-to-peer transactions and provides users with control over their digital assets.
